1971-1976 - Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb; Diploma in Chemistry.

1976-1979 - Graduate studies at the Centre for Graduate studies, University of Zagreb; Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry. M.S. degree in natural sciences (chemistry). Thesis: Organophosphorus pesticides in surface waters [Master of Science Thesis]. Zagreb: University of Zagreb; 1979. Supervisor: Zlata Štefanac.

1993             Ph.D. degree in natural sciences (chemistry). Thesis:                              Metabolite trace analysis as approach to the control of human exposure to organophosphorus pesticides, carbamates and chlorophenols [Doctoral Thesis]. Zagreb: Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb; 1993. Supervisor: Vlasta Drevenkar.

Working experience

Institute for Medical Research and Occupational Health, Zagreb, Croatia, since 1977.

Area of scientific interest:

Studies on spatial and temporal differences in origin and distribution of organic micropollutants in the environment (air, water, soil), as well as on specific bioindicators of exposure of environment and humans to pesticide compounds. Development of analytical methods for trace determination of organic pollutants in environmental and biological samples.
